Growing up too fast...

Ammon's first tooth has FINALLY broken through his gums. Last Thursday, the 18th of September, I had my finger in his mouth and noticed his tooth. It was very exciteing for me, he's lots happier now. Sigh... :) He can officially sit, still a little wobbly, but absolutely sitting now. He will also lay on his tummy and get up on all fours and just rock back and forth a bit. He scoots backwards now and can spin himself around in circles when I put him on the floor on his tummy. No more just laying him on our bed for naps, he moves enough now that he fell off last week. Super sad, lots of tears. I love how he calms right down as soon as he has me, it reminds me I am loved. :)

Rachel was explaining something to me a couple of days ago, it was so funny. She had her journal from kindergarten and was looking through the pages with me, telling me it didn't make sense because it skipped three days in "Octember." I love her so much. I thought it was so cute I just couldn't bring myself to correct her. When she was one she started calling pbj's "shoguns." I don't know how that happened, but she would tell me she wanted a shogun until she was about four, I never corrected her then either, again, just too cute. Natalie now calls pbj's "peanut butter and samhangwich." I love to hear it, so again, no correction. My babies grow too fast, I like to hear them say things their own way as long as I can. :)

Kids definitely say the "darndest things." I too don't like to correct them. My oldest used to say, "The blow is winding!" So cute! He eventually figured it out. Unfortunately, my younger two get corrected by him now because he knows everything! :)
