Labor Day

We walked to the park and had a picnic today and let the kids play on the playground for awhile, Rachel even took Ammon down the slide a few times. The weather was great for this, it was actually a little on the chilly side, weird, I know. Anyway, Rachel has this persistent habit of playing in the volleyball sand pits, the girls call it the sandbox. They always smell like dogs after this, blek! So, they got baths tonight. Jennie gave me some of Jack's old jammies and Holly gave Ammon a John Deere blanket she had made, of course I had to take some pictures. And OBVIOUSLY I have to share. Incidentally Rachel is wearing the nightgown Aunt Bubs made for her and Nattie is in the t-shirt Aunt Heidy gave us out of a D.I. bag. Love that my sisters and my sister-in-law are so great at dressing my kids! :) Happy birthday to Amy's Erin today also. I hope it was a good day (she ditched us for her daughter's birthday, go figure).

Okay, first, Melody does good work. What a seamstress!! Second, I think that first picture of Ammon is funny! Cameron says it's hellafunny. Cute boy! (Ammon, not Cameron...Cameron is cute too, but only I can think that.) Third of all, thanks from Erin for her Happy Birthday. We missed you. We need to come up and see you.
