"It hurts to shed tooths...."

Natalie: "Mommy, I always want to stay three forever."
Me: "Why Baby? Don't you want to have your birthday?"
Daddy: "How sad to never have another birthday."
Natalie: "No, I want to stay three forever because it hurts to shed tooths."
Me: "What?"
Natalie: "It hurts to shed tooths and when you get bigger, that's what you do."

Rachel currently has a VERY loose tooth that she absolutely refuses to pull, why? Because it hurts! I've heard little bits of conversations she and Nattie have had about this, Rach telling Nattie how badly it hurts. Wah lah! After Nattie's brain digests and turns over this information from her big sister (who knows everything, except when Nattie is mad at her), she decides she doesn't want to get any bigger because "it hurts to shed tooths!"

It's little things like this that make me happy I get to spend each day at home with my babies instead a having to work, kudos to my hard working hubby for that one! :)

That is so cute! We just went through the same thing with Brad. He "shed" his first tooth on saturday. He was so worried about it hurting, and the only person he would let pull it was my mom! So Grandma pulled his tooth and he is one happy boy.

I need to bring Rachel to visit your mom, then she can be one happy girl! :)
