Holly came up to take care of things at Karlinda's house for a week because Kurls is having a really hard time with her back right now and has been ordered to bedrest; Holly to the rescue! :) Last Friday Holly brought Spencer, Brooke, Lakyn and Jaren down, we picked up Gram and went to the Duck Pond Park for a picnic. I had gone earlier in the day and grabbed some "duck bread" from the Wonder Bread outlet in anticipation of this outing. The lady who rang me up and made me give her a whole dollar for this bread also had me sign a little piece of paper saying I knew this bread was "unfit for human consumption" and wouldn't eat it. We had a good time! Both and Rachel and Gram had the geese eating out of their hands, I got a picture of Rachel but was too slow on the shutter to get one of Gram.

As for the whole "unfit for human consumption," Nattie decided she was hungry and took a bite before I was aware what she was doing. She only got one bite in, as you can see from the bread in her hands in this picture, and she has suffered no ill effects.
Ammon tried very hard to reach the duck bread so he could have some, but I was a little more on top of it with him, he didn't get any. :)
The kids, minus babies, right before we packed up to go home. They were a little tired, but they all had a good time and I'm glad we went. I love that my kids can spend a lot more time with their cousins now. :)
